A Hermitage commercial building is slated to house Chinese comfort food restaurant Steamboys.

According to a permit, the eatery will operate at 3907 Lebanon Pike. The permit is valued at $65,000 and Lebanon-based DAV Construction is handling the build-out.

A group of business partners who are asking to go unnamed will own and operate Steamboys. The team is also planning a Steamboys in Germantown. That fast-casual restaurant will take a 1,850-square-foot space at mixed-used development LC Germantown at 1226 Second Ave. N.

One of the partners in late 2018 told the Post the Steamboys menu will focus on dumplings, bao and noodles. The concept is based on similar fast-casual Asian restaurants located in the Northeast.
